Terms and Conditions

 

Bookings

All bookings are to be made between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. It is recommended to secure your booking in advance, particularly for appointments conducted on weekends and/or during holiday periods which can book out months in advance.

 

Payment Policy

Full payment is required upfront to secure your booking. Once the date, time and location details of your booking have been agreed on, you will receive a digital invoice to complete your payment.

 

You will receive an invoice with the bank details for you to complete the payment via bank transfer.

 

Payment must be made within 24 hours to secure the booking. Without payment, the booking will not be processed and date/s are released.

Refunds

 

There are no refunds issued on services once they have commenced or been completed.

 

Cancellation Policy

1:1 Personal Styling Workshop

 

If more than 48 hour notice is given, you are welcome to a refund, minus a 30% appointment holding fee. 

 

However, if the cancellation is made in less than 48 hours prior to your appointment, no refund will be issued.

 

Masterclass and its optional services

 

There is no refund for these services.

 

Rescheduling Policy

 

You are welcome to reschedule your appointment once if required. 

 

Fees for additional reschedules:

 

  • If less than 48 hours notice is given, you will incur a 20% rescheduling fee each time.

  • If more than 48 hours notice is given, a credit is issued and is valid for up to 6 months from making the initial booking.

 

In any other special circumstances, policy will be assessed on a case-by-case basis

Rescheduled appointments are subject to stylist availability. As appointments are booked weeks or months in advance, your preferred rescheduled date will depend on availability at the time of rescheduling.

Late and Missed Workshops

 

If you are running late to your appointment, this time will be taken from your appointment and we will continue with the time remaining once you arrive. If you miss your appointment and do not show without notifying Miwa more than 48 hours prior to your appointment, no refund will be issued or reschedule offered.

 

Retailer Product Availability

 

Whilst extensive research and planning is conducted for each appointment, Miwa cannot guarantee product availability, sizes or stock available in stores or online at the time of your appointment. We can only shop for what is available at the time of your appointment.

 

Miwa is not responsible for any items that are purchased in store or online from retailers. 

 

Travel Fees

 

Miwa works over most suburbs within 30km from Melbourne CBD. There is no travel fee for any of these locations.

 

On request, Miwa is available to service outside the above areas and an additional travel fee will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Intellectual Property

Intellectual property includes, but is not limited to, the documents and/or videos that you may receive as an inclusion of your appointment. Styling guidelines, shopping lists, recordings of consultations via Zoom or during a face to face workshop or any other information shared with you during or upon completion of your appointment are not to be redistributed to third parties without written consent from Miwa.

Miwa Kaneko Personal Stylist reserves the right to refuse any service that is immoral, punishable by law, or may put staff at risk.

 

Should Miwa Kaneko Personal Stylist provides Third Party recommendations at a client’s request, Miwa Kaneko Personal Stylist is held free of responsibility for third party services. Miwa Kaneko Personal Stylist is not affiliated or sponsored by any third parties or retailers in any way. All advice given is personalised and in client’s best interest. 

 

Miwa Kaneko Personal Stylist is not responsible for items lost or stolen during an appointment.

 

Miwa Kaneko Personal Stylist makes best efforts to provide relevant and valuable advice. All purchase decisions and decisions to discard any clothing or belongings during or after an appointment are the final discretion and responsibility of the client. Miwa Kaneko Personal Stylist is not liable for loss of profit, or any other damages including but not limited to special, consequential, incidental damages/losses as a result of such advice.
